Part Details:  in very good condition - has been repainted - the first two picture's are after being clear coated by a product from summit racing, comes exactly as pictured - pre-drilled for cavitation plate - oil looked good. 

NOTE: Oil has been drained for Shipment !!!!!!

General Application / Compatibility

This gearcase fits the cobra sterndrive from 1984-1985 and I am sure it will fit newer models too but the anti-ventilation plate is narrower than the latest cobra models, this will also fit the stringer models from 1985 but you need to pull the studs for the water pump and put the studs for the seal carrier instead.

• This would have been found on Stringer 1984-1985 V6 & V8 Models Only (3.8L V6 / 4.3L V6 / 5.0L 305 V8 / 5.7L 350 V8)
  • This was also the same gearcase found on the Cobra V6 & V8 models from 1986

Shipping:
We normally ship the day after your payment is received and cleared. If you purchase multiple items, then please allow us to send an invoice to send you a little on shipping. Unless otherwise stated, products will be shipped via FedEx or USPS. Contact seller for any items being shipped anywhere other than the lower 48 states for a shipping price quote. Additional shipping charges will apply to all places outside of the lower 48. Arrangements can be made to pick up item locally.

Returns:
RETURNS ARE ALLOWED ONLY IF THE ITEM IS DEFECTIVE OR IF WE MADE A MISTAKE IN THE LISTING. RETURNS ARE NOT ALLOWED IF BUYER PURCHASES WRONG PART.   Returns are allowed for 14 days only (used items) or 30 days (new items).  Buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs and for ensuring proper packaging. Buyer must contact us via email before returning any item and obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. Buyer is responsible for doing his own research to ensure purchase of the correct part. Returns are not allowed due to purchase of incorrect part or change of mind. All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee unless the item was defective or we made a mistake in the listing. All returned parts found to be tampered with/modified/damaged or incomplete will not be refunded.
